Why do you run?  Running is a great stress reliever, especially in the morning when it is quiet and no one else is around.  Also, I enjoy the competitive aspect of running.  I love the feeling of competing in a race and knowing that I have done my best.

Why Bethel?  I wanted to attend a school with true Christian values, and Bethel seemed to be the best fit for me.

Most memorable or "interesting" running moments:  Running my fastest 5K with my shoe untied the entire race; winning a frozen turkey during a road race last year

Honors / Accomplishments:  2004 Team Award:  "Most Valuable Runner", NCAA DIII All-American (18th), NCAA DIII Central Region - All Region (3rd), MIAC - All Conference (3rd); 2003 NCAA DIII Nationals participant, NCAA DIII Central Region - All Region (5th), MIAC - All Conference (10th).  High school:  All Conference Cross Country, Nordic Skiing, and Track; Conference Champion Nordic Skier, MN State Meet participant in Nordic Skiing and Track, All State Nordic Skier
